It is all about the hiring process and how to add value for employees and vendors so it is not the main part of the discussion.
Today, we will show you what strategies create value in your business so you don't have to reach into your pocket whenever you face a challenge.
Introduction
Imagine you sell products at $100 each but only pay your employees $1.
They won't be happy about it.
Now let's do the opposite, pay vendors and employees the 100 dollars you're getting on sales and they'll be happy.
Right?
While this is an extreme example, the principle holds.
If increasing salaries is the only way you have to improve relationships with vendors and employees, you're going to have a hard time creating a sustainable business.
I know we have more ways to increase value because I worked for Accenture Argentina for almost 3 years. And, even when I received a good amount of salary adjustments I was way below what I achieved later salary-wise.
What's more, at this moment in time the company was known for having terrible attrition issues (and probably still is) and they couldn't hold talent for longer than a year.
Also, economics didn't help.
Summary
The leaders that I had in Accenture knew how to listen, and how to make room for improvement and they also benefited from my work but added value that was very well perceived in the period I worked there.
As a Fractional CTO and tech partner, my goal is to help businesses implement these strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and a thriving workforce.
